Leopardstown Racecourse is only 25 minutes south of Dublin City and well worth the visit. There is both a flat and National Hunt season so you are bound to be in the area during the races.
I was in Ireland watching the Dublin Horse Show and hadn’t heard of Leopardstown Racecourse. Thankfully, the Irish are extremely friendly and someone I spoke to at the show had mentioned the races. So off I went and had a wonderful horse filled day, which is the best way to spend a day.
